This Privacy Policy describes how the iziGo application handles your information.
About the Application
iziGo is a mobile application for customers to rent electric vehicles and batteries, unlock station and kiosk doors, exchange batteries, and manage their rentals.
Information We Collect
To provide the service, the application collects the following information:
- Account information — your phone number, used to sign in with a one-time password (OTP) and to identify your account.
- Profile information — such as your full name and other rental details you provide or that are recorded for your rental.
- Location — used only while you are using the app, to confirm you are near a door before it is unlocked.
- Camera — used to scan QR codes to unlock doors at stations and kiosks.
- Device identifier and notification token — used to keep your session secure and to send you notifications about your rentals.
- Rental records — information about your orders, battery exchanges, and rental history linked to your account.
We do not collect bank passwords or full card numbers; payments are processed by payment-gateway partners.
Use of Information
Your information is used only to operate the service, including:
- Creating your account and signing you in.
- Processing rentals, battery exchanges, renewals, and returns.
- Unlocking doors at stations and kiosks.
- Sending notifications related to your orders.
- Keeping the service secure and preventing fraud.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We use a limited number of service providers to operate the application — including backend hosting (Supabase), OTP delivery (Zalo ZNS), and payment gateways to process transactions. These providers process data only on our instructions and for the purposes described above.
Data Retention and Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and stored on access-controlled systems. We retain your data only as long as needed to provide the service and to comply with legal requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
Your Rights and Account Deletion
You may access, correct, or delete your personal data, or withdraw your consent, at any time. You can delete your account directly in the app (Account > Delete account); doing so removes or anonymizes your personal data, except records we must keep to comply with the law. Children
The application is not intended for people under 18 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Any new version will be posted at this public link with an updated date.
